Coming to Victoria, BC on a cruise. What are some good music and book stores?

If you're in on a cruise, chances are you are downtown Victoria...



for BOOKS:

- Munroe's Books (on government street)

- for a real dig into a great used book store, try Russell Books (on Fort Street).

- There's also an Indigo/Chapter's store.



Music stores... are you looking to buy CDs etc? if so, there's HMV and "mall-type" stores. or you can go to Lyle's Place on Yates street - a great little new/used store.

the biggest downtown bookstore is 'Chapters' on Douglas Street. I think there's an HMV in the Eaton's Centre, also on Douglas Street close to Chapters.
